South Portland, ME has contracted with CAI to host the City’s GIS data using our AxisGIS platform. AxisGIS is an advanced but yet simple and easy to use web based GIS service accessible on any device using a common web browser. AxisGIS was configured to make the City’s GIS data layers and Vision Assessment information available to staff and the public through a searchable interface. Taking advantage of AxisGIS’ ability to integrate with the City’s ArcGIS Enterprise Server and ArcGIS Online account, data being displayed in AxisGIS is authoritative and always up to date. City officials will also be able to link scanned documents to each parcel and make them available to the public, or to staff only via the secure Staff Site. CAI currently contracts online GIS services with over 400 communities, aiding departments such as Assessing, Code Enforcement, Engineering, Planning, Public Safety, Public Works and others to do their jobs more effectively and efficiently. https://www.axisgis.com/South_PortlandME/
