Monmouth, ME has contracted with CAI to migrate their data into our standardized geodatabase maintenance data model. As part of the conversion CAI shall improve the spatial accuracy of the existing parcel data as well as digitize parcel dimension text from a set of 2019 Tax Maps. Having the GIS parcel data in the CAI maintenance data model allows CAI staff to perform maintenance more efficiently and ensure data quality. Once migrated CAI shall perform a backlog of edits. The edits shall include incorporating dimension text from deeds/plans for parcels previously added to the GIS between 2019 -2022 and performing regular Tax Map maintenance services to update the data current to 4/1/24. Once up to date, CAI shall prepare new PDF and hard copy Tax Maps for the Town. Going forward CAI shall maintain the data regularly using deeds and plans submitted by the Town and then once annually produce new updated hard copy Tax Maps.
