Ledyard, CT recently hired CAI Technologies to implement our online GIS platform. CAI began by first digitizing the Town’s existing Tax Maps to overlay the most currently available orthoimagery. Following the conversion, CAI setup and configured AxisGIS for the Town.
AxisGIS is an easy to use yet powerful online mapping service developed/hosted by CAI and is currently contracted in over 500 communities. AxisGIS will make the Town’s map/GIS layers available to Staff and the public through a powerful and searchable mapping interface. CAI shall continue updating the GIS data on a regular basis as the Town provides deeds/plans for new parcel splits.
